  11. Hi,
  12.     I obtained dvipsk-5.55a.tar.gz from ctan and installed
  13. it on my sparc 10 running sunos 4.1.3. When I issue the command

  15.     dvips gentle-introduction.dvi
  16.  
  17. I got the following output:

  20. I read that MakeTeXPK should have been used to generate the fonts
  21. required instead of the above scaling. I also checked /usr/local/bin
  22. and MakeTeXPK is indeed there.

  24. My question is why MakeTexPK is not automatically called when dvips
  25. encounters available fonts?
